James D. Wright, Sr
Crossroad Women and Family Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the James D. Wright, Sr. Scholastic Achievement Award. The recipient of this award will be a 2024 graduating high school senior pursuing secondary education. Bishop James D. Wright served as a Driver with the Jersey City Board of Education until his retirement. He loved his job and took great pride in his work. Our Story
Bishop James D. Wright, Sr. also served as one of the founding board members for Crossroad Women and Family Services. In his role he also served as a driver for women and children in crisis. He transported homeless families to shelters and safe houses. There wasn't any job too small . He was a true servant, role model and spiritual leader in his home, community, workplace and church. In honor of my father's legacy I invite you to consider donating to the James D. Wright, Sr. Scholastic Achievement Award. Thank you for your support!
