School Violence Prevention and Intervention (SAVE) Workshop. Crossroad Women and Family Services serves as an approved provider with the New York State Education Department, Albany, New York.
In 2018 mass school shootings, injuries and deaths were at an epidemic level. Parents, students, educators are overwhelmed with safety concerns. The devastation of campus shootings, hiding from death or witnessing peers/ friends dying too soon is traumatic for kids.
The traumatic impact of violence, gun fire, cross fire, and multiple deaths causes emotional and psychological damage and countless cases of PTSD.
